Here is a short and simple guide on how to use the self-hypnosis audio sessions and if you have any questions please contact us

  • Never use hypnotherapy sessions when driving, operating machinery or in danger should you fall asleep.
  • Do not use hypnotherapy if you suffer from epilepsy or mental health condition
  • Do not consume caffeine or exercise for 2 or 3 hours before listening.
  • Use the bathroom before relaxing into the session.
  • You may fall asleep during the hypnotherapy session but your subconscious mind will still be receptive to the suggestions.
  • It's preferable to listen to the hypnotherapy sessions in the evening or at night before bed as you will be more susceptible to the cues of relaxation. This may depend on your own schedule, so choose the time that suits you best.
  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Find a quiet and comfortable place where you will not be disturbed to lie down, on the sofa or bed. You can also sit upright with your head supported.
  • You can meditate or practise breathing techniques if you need help to relax before listening.
  • Switch your phone on flight mode or silent.
  • Use headphones (earphones, headsets or AirPods) for better surround sound and listening experience.
  • We recommend you listen to no more than two hypnotherapy sessions a day plus one guided meditation or breath work session.
  • Focus on one topic at a time. Try to allow space between dealing with two different issues (e.g. alcohol and weight loss.)
  • Repeat each session for 7-10 consecutive days to get the best results, unless you are following the instructions for the bundle packs.
  • Listen and concentrate on the words at the beginning of each hypnotherapy session to help you reach a state of deep relaxation (hypnosis), which is aided by the repetition of certain phrases and verbal cues.

The experience of hypnosis is different for each person and there is no such thing as a “hypnotized feeling.” It is a deeply relaxing and enjoyable state of mind. Contrary to what you might have heard from less well-informed sources, an individual in the hypnotic state is in complete control of him or herself at all times, but is simply extraordinarily focused on their internal experience. Hypnosis cannot make you to do anything, or think anything that is not desired, or desirable for you. When hypnosis is used for therapeutic purposes, known as hypnotherapy, it can help people in so many ways. Hypnotherapy can help people change unwanted habits and behaviours, overcome fears and phobias, conquer stress and anxiety, and so much more. By purposefully and systematically entering hypnosis we have an opportunity to foster physical and emotional balance at a subconscious level, and therefore improve the quality of our lives. Since we work with subconscious thought processes, hypnotherapy can often be much more effective

It is thought that about five percent of people are classically “un-hypnotizable.” Most people show moderate scores and about ten percent can be hypnotized to extreme depths (and show the classical deep trance phenomena). When it comes to our self hypnosis recordings, depth of trance is not important. If you are willing to listen and to relax as deeply as you can, then you will experience the benefits.

Self hypnosis and hypnotherapy are suitable for almost everybody. However, some people should not be induced into a state of hypnosis. This includes people who are psychotically ill. It is not that hypnosis is the problem, but any therapy for people who suffer from psychotic illnesses (such as schizophrenia) is highly specialized and psychotherapy alone often cannot treat psychosis. Other people who are unsuitable are those who suffer from epilepsy. There is a slim chance that the state of hypnosis could trigger a convulsion, because some epileptic conditions can be triggered by a change in brain activity.

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring, beneficial, positive state, and is very safe, when used as directed in our self hypnosis instructions. There are many myths and misconceptions about hypnosis, including far-fetched tales of people becoming “stuck” and being unable to wake-up. This can never happen and once you understand what hypnosis actually is, then you will have no such concerns. In terms of health and well being, please know that hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation.

Hypnosis cannot alter your basic underlying personality, so please do not worry. You will still be you, but our self hypnosis recordings are designed to help you make the changes you want, in a positive, constructive way.

are great options and have advantages and disadvantages. Both are effective since what is key for hypnotherapy to work is for the client to listen to the voice of the hypnotherapist. With the recording, you have the chance to listen to it various time to make a deeper effect on your subconscious mind. Also, our recordings are made selecting very carefully each word that are used for you to achieve a positive shift, using advanced hypnotherapy techniques. So you will have an experience very similar to hypnotherapy session one on one from the confort of your home at a convenient time.

Almost all of our self hypnosis sessions are between 20 to 35 minutes. This is the optimum time frame for a self hypnosis recording. We know this from personal and professional experience, but this viewpoint is also supported by our bodies’ natural Ultradian Rhythms.

For specific topic, we might have longer hypnotherapy recording. In general this time is optimum, since after 30 mins or so, people tend to either lose focus or fall asleep. Even if you visited a hypnotherapist for an hour long session, it is unlikely that you would experience the hypnotic state for the entire duration of the session. You would most likely spend about 20 to 30 minutes, in hypnosis, with the remainder of the time being taken up by work outside the hypnotic state.

Please also be aware that repeated listening is one of the key factors for self hypnosis success. The more you hear hypnotic suggestions, the more likely they are to be accepted by your subconscious. It is hard to listen to really long recordings as frequently, and we know that motivation is helped and maintained if listened to everyday. We therefore believe that self hypnosis recordings with a length of around 20 to 35 minutes are not only more effective, but they are also much more user-friendly.

This is difficult to answer because everybody is unique and everyone’s experience of self hypnosis is also unique. Therefore, everybody will experience positive changes at different speeds and times. Some people notice results right away or after a few days, whereas for others it might take weeks, even months, before they notice changes. Change is rarely an “Aha!” moment or some eureka experience. It is more often something that happens, without us really even noticing at first. We all have our own unique inner world and we each have our own time frame for change. It is impossible to predict when and how change will occur. Nevertheless, self hypnosis is one of the most effective means of bringing about permanent and lasting change, even if we are not immediately aware of it.
